Luigi immigrate to Australia in 1950 with his parents upon arrival the family went to pint pot estate Whittlesea where luigi and his family still live today. Luigi has been the proprietor to date
for 57 years.
He went on to be become a research scientist specializing in structural engineering and has a successful consulting structural engineering practice. He went on to study natural therapies for a hobbie and in 1980 started whittlesea farmhouse natural therapy centre.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a healing technique that originated in Tibet and has been practiced for over 2,500 years.
Strictly speaking, reiki means Universal Life Force Energy. It is one of the more widely known forms of healing through direct application of Chi, or a force very similar to Chi.
Chi?
Chi is the term used by the Chinese mystics and martial artists for the underlying force the Universe is made of.

What does Reiki do?
It is believed that reiki can relieve pain, boosts the immune system and relieves acute problems. This is believed because physical manifestations of pain are often linked to emotional, mental and spiritual states. Chronic illnesses may take a series of treatments, depending on the specific nature of the disease. Reiki goes beyond the symptoms to treat the root cause of the disease. When we treat only the symptoms, we do not always get to the true basis of the illness.

How is Reiki performed?
Reiki practice consists of the practitioner places his or her hands upon the person to be healed with the intent for healing to occur, and then the energy begins flowing.
The reiki practitioner uses their hands to channel energy from the universe to your body so your body can heal itself.

Swedish massage was developed in the 1700's by a Swedish doctor named Per Henrik Ling.

Purpose of Swedish Massage?
The main purpose of Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles.
Swedish massage shortens recovery time from muscular strain by flushing the tissues of lactic acid, uric acid, and other metabolic wastes. It increases circulation without increasing heart load. It stretches the ligaments and tendons keeping them supple and pliable. Swedish massage also stimulates the skin and nervous system and soothes the nerves themselves at the same time. Effleurage: Gliding strokes with the palms, thumbs and/or fingertips
Petrissage: Kneading movements with the hands, thumbs and/or fingers
Friction: Circular pressures with the palms of hands, thumbs and/or fingers
Vibration: Oscillatory movements that shake or vibrate the body
Percussion: Brisk hacking or tapping
Passive and active movements: Bending and stretching

Luigi opened his natural therapy centre in 1980. The centre was operated by the same manager Angelica for 27 years from 1980 to 2007.Angelica retired at age of 75 years after 27 years of service Luigi has lived on the same pastoral property in whittlesea since 1950.in the 1950s luigi,s parents sponsoured many families to immigrate to australia from italy In 1954 from the skills of many of the families luigs parents started their building construction business which is still operating today In 1980 luigi started his natural therapy business to suppliment his building construction business"The natural therapies was a big help to the hard working building contractors" luigi says "there were times when we had up to 200 building contractor clients per week using our natural therapies"and we averaged 20 clients per day and we had over ten thousand clients over 27 years
